Whatever your work is, put your heart into it as done for the Lord and not for human beings, knowing that the Lord will repay you by making you his heirs. It is Christ the Lord that you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)
Really? Because it's not too obvious how being a grad student is serving Christ. I have my own ideas how I could work explicitly for the Lord, and most of them don't involve locking myself away in a library all week.
But right now this is the work He's blessed me with, so I'll persevere. Just a few more months!
