As I mused over what I would say when we went around the table telling what we were thankful for, I was surprised that one of the first things that came to mind (after my husband, family, etc.) was being Catholic. A year ago I would have never thought I'd be thankful for being Catholic. But I am. There's something about feeling absolutely assured of the fullness of truth that overwhelms me with gratitude.
And because I couldn't resist, here's a picture of my amazing husband the scientist and our first ever turkey last year. He loved hosting Thanksgiving for his family!
